The old award rate, the 1 January modern award rate and the July modern award rate are all needed to calculate the new minimum wages. Separate calculations are required for each type of transitional arrangement, eg pay rates, casual loadings, shift penalties, etc.
It is not anticipated that there will be any changes to these draft determinations.
